Strellis & Field sets a record for the Fastest Jury Verdict ever rendered in Judge Herndon’s Southern Illinois District Court
According to Federal Judge David Herndon, the trial team of Jack Strellis and Dennis Field set a record for the fastest jury verdict ever rendered in Judge Herndon’s court. While representing the interest of a young widow against a large medical malpractice carrier, the team of Jack Strellis and Dennis Field won a favorable jury verdict after only 23 minutes of jury deliberations. The victory kept the doctor’s million-dollar policy in play towards payment for the damages in the wrongful death action of the widow’s deceased husband. This was not the first time Dennis Field fared well in front of Judge Herndon. Early in Mr. Field’s career, he won an $85,000.00 jury verdict based upon injuries that required only $4,000.00 in chiropractic treatment.
