Sundays on State Aims to Bring Visitors Downtown
All of us at Strellis and Field wish you and your loved ones a happy and safe Sunday! This Sunday is the second “Sundays on State” festival in Chicago, which aims to bring people Downtown. The festival is a large block party on State Street with art, music, food, and other attractions.
The festival hopes to draw in visitors from other parts of Chicago and the suburbs to revitalize the loop area that faced challenges during COVID-19 as the economy mainly relies on employees and tourists. According to event organizers, each Sunday, the block party will offer different events and attractions. Sundays on State take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Sundays on State in August will be on the 8th, 22nd, and 29th, and in September on the 5th and 12th.
